Life in 5: Analia Romero
Hola! Mi nombre es Analia y soy una estudiante aquí en NAU con especialización en música y especialidad en Artes y Gestión Cultural.
Hi everyone, my name is Analia and I’m a senior here at NAU majoring in music and minoring in Arts and Cultural Management!

Yeah, I’m in a band 💁🏽
I’m the president of the newly formed NAU Mariachi Mar y Sol! We are a mariachi band that celebrates the culture and history of mariachi. This photo was from the 2017 Celebraciones De La Gente performance in late October!

And we jam hard!
There’s nothing I love more than being around good people. Being part of NAU Mariachi Mar y Sol makes that happen! This photo was taken after concert jam photos and fun session, with San Diego natives Jarabe Mexicano. What a fabulous concert two weeks ago at the NAU NAC!

Tradition & family are my #1
Being connected to my traditions and family are extremely important to me. Celebrating Dia De Los Muertos in Arizona away from my family in California is always a blessing. I have to opportunity to teach my Montessori students about the traditions I was raised on as well as share it with my Flagstaff friends and family in the form of artistic expressions like these!

I’m also a choir director & teacher! 👩🏽🏫
Along with being a full-time music student, and Flagstaff Sings! community choir director, I am also a Flagstaff Montessori, music and Spanish teacher. Taking on this full-time position has improved my skills as a communicator, leader, and musician. I also get to teach kids some pretty cool thing

Life is great ‘cause I love who I share it with.
Of course, life is great! It is even greater when there is someone kind and loving to share it with. I love you, Ruben Hassman, let’s make a crazy fun filled future together!
