Flagstaff is home to many alluring sights; if you want a poppin’ instagram feed, check these places out!

1. Historic Downtown Flagstaff

Downtown FLG has lots to offer. You can just about catch a cute picture at any street corner or in front of the many murals there are. The Hotel Monte Vista sign is a downtown trademark, so that always makes for a good photo op!

2. Buffalo Park

When I first heard of Buffalo Park, I was expecting to just find somewhere nice to run/hike. The park ended up not only being my go-to location for exercise, but also my go-to location for fun pictures at golden hour.

3. Mars Hill Lookout

Take your picture with the view and then enjoy some time listening to music in your car. This spot offers a small getaway and is a short drive from downtown.

4. Lake Mary

Lake Mary is a beautiful sky blue lake surrounded by pines and great meadows. You won’t want to miss out of this breathtaking photo site.

5. Old Main

Old Main is a classic emblem to Northern Arizona University. Regardless of whether or not you are a student, the public is welcome to enjoy the charming composition of colors on campus.

6. Flower Fields

There is no specific location for the fields, because you can locate them just about anywhere in late July and early August.

#LumberjackTip Some popular spots to find them are Buffalo Park and along Route 66.

7. Francis Short Pond

I found this goodie when I was on a run with my dog. Aside from the pond itself, the surrounding areas offer a beautiful green oasis for more photo ops.

8. Lockett Meadow

The Aspen Trees in Lockett Meadow are an absolute dream. Whether you’re on a hike or just going to explore, the trees add a unique element to your pictures!

Honorable Mentions

9. Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon may be a further drive from Flagstaff, but it is more than worth it to experience those incredible views!

10. Sedona, AZ

Sedona is a short 45 minute drive from Flagstaff and the drive itself is already Instagram-worthy.

I won’t specify on one location that makes for good pictures, because the whole town is worthy! Whether you want a picture at the creeks or in the culture-filled arts village, Tlaquepaque — you’ll be sure to get your #Instaworthy shots.
