Taking Care of You during #COVID19
The most important thing we can do right now —
What does social distancing mean?
Putting space between you and others.
How much space? 6 feet.
Why is social distancing important?
We can help flatten the curve and prevent the spread.
Social Distancing ⧣ Social Isolation
- Reach out to others and offer support, empathy, information and, if possible, tangible help. Stay connected using technology.
- Helping others is a gift, and it is good for your own well-being. You can help others by offering reassurance and emotional support, for instance.
Social distancing doesn’t mean you can’t go outside
- Regular exercise can reduce anxiety. Need to take a walk or ride your bike to get some fresh air? Go for it! Just keep that 6 foot distance. Prefer at-home workouts? Try ours from NAU Campus Rec
